Ingredients
70 gr plain flour
100 gr butter, softened
150 gr sugar
4 eggs
200 gr dark chocolate 52% , in pieces
50 gr blanched almonds, powdered
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180C. Line a 6 hole muffin tin with paper muffin cases.
Step 2
Put chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Rest the bowl over a pan of gently simmering water until the ingredients melt (bain-marie) or microwave on medium heat for 2 minutes, stir, then microwave for 2 more minutes until smooth.
Step 3
Beat butter and sugar and then add eggs until mix is fluffy and creamy. Add flour, almond powder and melted chocolate and mix together until just combined.
Step 4
Divide mixture between the prepared paper cases and bake for 20-25 minutes until risen and firm, but juicy on the inside. Serve warm.
