This skewers are perfect for your beer, wine or ouzo! They will make the perfect nibble for your party as well.

Serves: 4 Prep. time: 20′ + 20′ marinating Cooks in: 10′ Ready in: 30′

16 large shrimps (Νο 0 ή 1)
24 sundried tomatoes, preserved in oil
24 large basil leaves

For marinating
2 tbsp thyme fresh or dried
4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 large garlic clove, crushed
1 tbsp ketchup
2-3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp lemon zest
1 tbsp brandy
1 tbsp cayenne pepper (optional)
4 metal skewers
salt, freshly ground black pepper

Step 1
Remove shrimp shell, leaving head and tails. Wash, mix in a bowl with marinade ingredients, toss and chill for 20′.

Step 2
Thread 2 shrimps in each metal skewers, alternating with sundried tomatoes and basil leaves.

Step 3
Grill skewers for 7′-8′ on both sides, brushing them 2-3 times with the marinade while grilling. Serve hot.
