The easiest way to make a chocolate dessert in no time, making the most of any stale bread left!

Serves: 8 Prep. time: 10′ Cooks in: 50′ Ready in: Β 60′

6 tbsp cocoa powder
100 ml milk
500 g bread crumbs (stale bread)
200 g sugar
1 cup almonds, blanched, chopped
4 eggs
2 tbsp butter
icing sugar

Step 1
Preheat oven at 180°C/fan. Heat milk in a pan and stir in bread crumbs and allow to absorb.

Step 2
Stirring vigorously with a wooden spoon add sugar, cocoa, eggs and almonds.

Step 3
Butter a baking dish 20×30 cm and pour in mixture. Bake for 50 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature sprinkling with icing sugar.
