An ultra-easy and tasty appetizer! Serve with a nice glass of really cool Sauvignon Blanc – the perfect match!

Serves: 6 Prep. time: 10′ Cooks in: 5′ Ready in: 15′

2 garlic cloves
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
6 thick slices of wholemeal bread
6 slices goat cheese
1 tbsp butter
300 g white grapes
200 g black grapes
200 g walnuts
2 tbsp brown sugar
dries thyme, for serving


Step 1
Whizz garlic with olive oil until smooth and brush bread slices on one side. Grill them for 5 minutes until toasted.

Step 2
Cook grapes in melted butter in a non-stick frying pan for 2-3 minutes. Stir in 1-2 tbsp water and remove pan from heat.

Step 3
Divide cheese on bread, garnish with grapes, walnuts and sprinkle with thyme.
