These sandwiches are perfect for your picnic! Do not forget the garlicky paste; it adds an extra flavor to this snack!

Serves: 4 Prep. time: 20′ Cooks in:Ready in: 20′

4 individual sandwich loaves
120 g salami, finely sliced
150 g Graviera cheese or Gruyere, finely sliced
2 roasted red peppers, in pieces
4-5 oregano sprigs, leaves finely chopped

For the garlicky olive paste
½ garlic clove
80 g black Kalamata olives, pitted
80 g green olives, pitted
50 g walnuts
6 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp chili flakes

Step 1
For the paste: Whizz all ingredients until a little smooth (not completely).

Step 2
Cut loaves in half and spread paste inside on both parts. Divide ingredients into 4. Line each loaf with half salami, half cheese and half pepper. Then make another layer with salami, cheese and pepper. Sprinkle with oregano and serve.
