It is great dessert for any special occasion served on its own or with ice cream or whipped cream. Simply throw all the ingredients together, form a log and allow it to chill before slicing.

350 g chestnuts, boiled
8 dates, finely chopped
200 g chocolate 65% cocoa
130 g coconut oil
2 tbsp almond butter
2 tbsp carob syrup
1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
1 handful almond or hazelnuts or 1 tbsp brandy (optionally)

Step 1
In a bain marie melt chocolate with carob syrup.

Step 2
In a bowl mix all ingredients until well combined. Transfer in tin small loaf to give a rectangular shape.

Step 3
Allow to cool in the fridge for 2 hours before cutting and serving in slices.
